Three course meal options and evening food?

Melissa, 3 February, 2022 at 22:27 Posted on Feedback to Hitched 1 2

Hi there, we are providing a three course meal and also evening options for our wedding. It is far too complicated to add a separate RSVP for each course but I can't find any other way to do it! Please can this be simplified somehow? Many thanks...

You can do it by editing the ceremony menu options but not sure it can collect more than one option. Our courses are set so we just had Meat/vegetarian/vegan/gluten free. And then asked people to use the question Rab to provide any further dietary info, so you could have a page with the options and then ask them to do that.

    Hi there!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Planning the menu for such a special occasion can indeed be a bit complex, but there are a few ways to simplify the process without having a separate RSVP for each course. Here are a few suggestions:

    1. Pre-select a single meal option: Instead of offering multiple choices for each course, you can pre-select a single meal option that encompasses a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. This way, you can simplify the RSVP process by asking your guests to confirm their attendance without specifying their individual course preferences.

    2. Indicate dietary options: If you have guests with specific dietary restrictions or preferences, such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, you can include a section in your RSVP where they can indicate their requirements. This allows you to accommodate their needs while still offering a simplified RSVP process.

    3. Provide a brief menu description: In your wedding invitation or RSVP card, you can provide a brief description of the three-course meal options and highlight any standout dishes or signature elements. This way, guests can get an idea of what to expect without having to choose specific courses in advance.

    4. Communicate with your caterer: Work closely with your caterer to design a menu that offers a diverse range of flavors and options within each course. By ensuring that the menu caters to various tastes, you can provide a delightful dining experience for your guests without the need for individual course selections.

Remember, the main goal is to simplify the RSVP process while still providing an enjoyable dining experience for your guests. Feel free to customize these suggestions to fit your specific needs and preferences. Best of luck with your wedding preparations!
