Ours is a civil ceremony at hotel. 3pm get married, 3:30pm photo's, 5pm wedding breakfast, 7:30pm evening do.

2.45pm Photos at church (not many at church as most will be at the venue)

3.30pm Arrive at hotel, welcome drinks & more photos

4.30pm Sit down for wedding breakfast

6.30pm Speeches (rough timing - they will be as soon as the meal ends)

7.00pm Wedding breakfast ends. Guests can go to their rooms / hang out in bar / stay in room and chat

7.30pm Evening party kicks off

12.30am Bar closes

1.00am Disco ends and guests go home / back to their room

Leave for church about 12.40pm

Arrive at church for couple of pics 12.50pm

Service 1.00pm

Service end approx 1.45pm

Photographs in local park 2.00pm - 2:45pm

Arrive at Venue - 3.00pm

Greet guests then sit for meal about 3.30pm - 3.45pm

Meal until 5.45pm (speeches about 5.30pm)

Wedding singer sets up about 6.30pm

Evening reception starts 7.30pm - 11.30pm

what does that mean, aycee?? means you arrive and chat with reg before the ceremony? no big entrance for you?

Apparently we have to meet the registar before the ceremony (separately so H2B doesn't see me) and confirm the questions we answered when we gave notice like names, adresses, occupations etc and the registrar will tell us what to do and when during the ceremony (we don't get any rehersals). Should only take 5-10 mins then i get to make my grand entrance to H2B and all the guests at 1.30!

ahhhhhhh i seeeeee. cool.

My stepmum had to do this when she married my dad last year, as I was bridesmaid I was there. It basically was the registrar coming out and asking the bride to check all personal details and then giving a rough guide as to what was going to happen. In this case it took about 2 or 3 mins i would say
