So my partner and I aren't wanting a traditional or big wedding, in fact with us included our entire guest list is a total of 12 people (plus maybe a few friends in the evening potentially, no more than 20 all together) and we're struggling for ideas.
Seems on here if you look at venues it's either an elopement (we're considering it) or you have to know more than 40 people for the venue price to be worth it?
Suppose we're asking what folks who are also in the same boat, or have been, went for ideas wise? Ideally we don't want to travel much on the day so ceremony plus dinner and evening all in one place and no wanting something super traditional really.
We've thought about a few smaller venues locally and the potential for a diy type situation but any ideas would be awesome (Or if anyone can recommend smaller venues in the Derbyshire area that would be fantastic!)
