Bleurgh...I had a take away pizza and it had meat on it. Now I feel sick just at the thought of it being 'dirty'. However, H had it at the same time and is fine but I am in late pregnancy.

Depends, could your body be 'clearing out' in preparation for D Day? Mine definitely did.

Do you have an intolerance to anything? If I eat eggs I need the loo within an hour or so because they don't agree with me, could it be something like that?

Other than those, whatever you've eaten has probably disagreed with you. Lots of water, lovely. ?

I did warn of TMI and can't believe I'm saying this but a few years ago, I had a curry and it came out right away and wasn't even digested (SORRY!) but this was.

My mum had the same thing with her last curry, just went straight through

Wouldn't you have vomiting too, if it was food poisoning?

My H just had food poisoning from eating coleslaw at some seminar he went to - he had d+v for 2 days, plus yesterday he could hardly get out of bed - he slept for 21 hours of the day.

If you're typing this perhaps you don't have food poisoning, and it's either something that your body really dislikes (mine does it sometimes with chickpeas), or you're going to give birth SOON!! I hope it's the latter (if you're along far enough....?)

Occasionally I'll eat something that doesn't agree with me and comes out the other end almost immediately which is grim. I've never had what I considered to be food poisoning though but I suppose I always expected it to take a little while and make me feel very poorly. Usually I'm ok as soon as I've been to the toilet, feel delicate for an hour or two but nothing awful.

That's the weird thing, food poisoning to me would be being sick and diarrhoea several times over at least a day or so? This was just a 'clear-out' ? Actually, I'm thinking now it's actually unrelated to the food I just ate and just a coincidence it was that soon after it. I've got a horrid headache now. I think maybe it could just be stress as had a bit of a trauma last night...hmmm. I'm 36 weeks today. I didn't post on BT as I was whinging on there last night ?

I had a 'Bombay Bad Boy' Pot Noodle yesterday and it went through me in a couple of hours...never again! Had the sweats and everything ☹️

I'm no medic, but I honestly don't think food poisoning would occur that quickly. Food poisoning, in my experience anyway (salmonella) manifests itself 24/48 hours later.

I think it is more likely to be an intolerance to something or a virus that been working its way through your body.

Hopefully now your body has expelled what it didn't like, you won't have any further problems. Hope you feel better soon.

I had food poisoning once, about 13 years ago, which is quite astounding given the amount of junk food and out of date/ mouldy crap I eat. I was sick as a dog, serious sweaty uncontrollable vomiting. Although maybe its different for different people.
