I think a veil would look gorgeous if that's what you want to go for. I definitely wouldn't worry about looking OTT on your wedding day! I wasn't fussed about having a veil until I tried one on and then I fell in love with a cathedral length. I figured when else would I ever get the chance to wear one?!

I think the dress has a lot going on which makes it beautiful on its own but it's your big day and if you want a veil then you wear a veil! Your opinion is most important!

Beautiful dress, and the veil is all about whether you feel comfortable in one.

Don't ever think that just cos it's a registry office you shouldn't have one. Whether it's your local town hall or St Paul's if you want one have one! I'm in a registry office and I've got a cathedral length one!
