Toiletry baskets for the bathrooms...

I am just doing mine! We have got so far Hairbrush, hair bands, hair clips, hair straightening scrum, mints, chewing gum, hand cream, hand gel antibacterial, hair spray, deodorant, perfume, body spray, tampax, safety pins, powder translusent, powder brush, concealer, tissues, tights, party feet, eyelash glue, blotting papers for shinny faces and prob more but I can't think lol! We can't have medical stuff coz of kids x

Oooh that sounds great. This might be a silly question, but what is powder translucent?

What a helpful topic - I have been wondering what to put in mine today too so this feels very topical, I had also thought to add plasters, lint roller and paracetamol, maybe even a sewing kit? xxx

Is anyone doing a mens? I've asked the H2B whether I should do one or not and he said no.

If I remember rightly the exact words were "I wouldnt bother. Men go in, pee, wash hands and go, they don't stand around making themselves pretty"

Haha.. Mine said, "what? like the no splash no gash man in a nightclub toilets??" haha... He suggested more silly stuff like condoms in case anyone pulls a Bridesmaid, although I pointed out that if any of the boys mentioned that to a Bridesmaid there would be hell to pay! Lol

Perhaps not then, although I know some friends have done it in the past, just basics like breath mints and deodourant though.

Not at all! I didnt think of doing anything like this until I saw people talking about it on here and then thought it sounded like a great idea. Some people like to do it as a little extra some dont.

I just did mine today! I went to TK MAXX and got some really nice little boxes with three sections in them.

I saw these on a Wedding Facebook page but have to say at the stage of planning I'm at its a extra cost i can't justify!!

Just been to a wedding where there was... tissues, wet wipes, tights, perfume, deodrant, bobby pins, safety pins, condoms, pregnancy test (yes there really was one), blister plasters, paracetymol and more

In my experience they've become more popular in recent years, but they're by no means at every wedding I go to.

[In case you're wondering why I'm in the ladies', I always check the toilets to make sure they're clean / have paper towels / hand driers work etc. I do this before people turn up]
