Town Hall wedding/civil Ceremony

Stephanie, 21 of December of 2023 at 11:02 Posted on Planning 0

Hello fellow bride to be's

I need help. Obviously new to this world and I'm planning my own wedding (crazy I know). I got engaged this July 2023 and the original plan was to get married in 2025. However, decided last minute(again, crazy i know) to get married in 2024, maybe August or October. We decided instead of doing a semi-big wedding in church or a specific venue that we would just do a Civil Ceremony and if we still want the big wedding celebration we'll do it in the future. My question is, how do the civil ceremonies usually go? Programme wise? Do you still have your bridal party walk down, ringbearers, flower girls? Do the bride and groom enter separately? I'm Filipino so I grew up seeing semi traditional catholic/church wedding so that's all I know in the wedding world.
