Traditional aisle walk?

Do people still do that 'right together left together' thing? Saw Nessa practising it on last night's G+S repeat and it made me realise I will feel a bit of an idiot doing that! Do people just generally step normally these days, is it a church thing, or is it very common? Thanks!

    I don't think its very common now. We had our church rehearsal last night and the vicar told us to walk normally, but slowly and to enjoy it! I think I would find it too difficult to concentrate on walking right together, left together. I'd probably fall over my own feet!

    Haha we had the same conversation when watching G and S last night. I think I'd feel an idiot doing it but I think I will need to do something to slow myself down!!! I'll be sprinting down the aisle otherwise!!!!

    I hadn't even thought about this! ? I thought you just walk in time with the music, which is normally slow and serene? Haha

    Just normal walk! I've never seen anyone do the "left together right together" step.

    Just remember to take your time. My sister pratically ran down the aisle and had to wait at the top for ages whilst the entrance music ended!

    Me and Dad sort of did it!

    It wasn't as obvious as right together left together, more of a slight pause in each step (if that makes any sense at all!!!)

    But take your time. This is important. It will all fly by sooooo fast!
