Transport for bridesmaids

Just wondering what others are doing regarding getting bridesmaids to the wedding venue? I was going to ask my family to take them in their car but a couple of family members thought that seemed odd. Any thoughts?

    Not at all odd, we are driving ourselves as personally I just cannot justify the cost for wedding cars. If you have some friends with nice cars maybe offer to pay yho have them valleted at one of those hand car washes beforehand
