Two Best Men - Can they have a ring each?

Sondy, 30 August, 2015 at 10:47 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi,

My groom couldn't choose between two best men (his brother and his best friend) so he's having both. I think this is lovely but we've just had paperwork through from the registrar and he's now panicking as the form only asks for a single person who will present the rings. I'm going to call them after the bank holiday but I was wondering if anybody else had had this experience. Can each Best men have a ring or does it just have to be one person?

Thank you!

I would submit two.names and see whether they say anything. If they insist on one split the best man duties a different way. Maybe one has rings and the other signs register. Assume it's fine unless they make a fuss.

Yes, it's fine. The registrars are used to wedding with more than one ring bearer. They will meet the groom before the ceremony and he needs to explain it to them then.

    Hi there,

When I got married the registrar asked

my best man and bridesmaid for a ring each so I'm sure

2 best men wouldn't be an issue Smiley smile
