UK hen weekend

ShellG, 3 September, 2016 at 20:32 Posted on Planning 0 13

Hi,

Could anyone share their hen weekend plans in the UK? Looking to cater for about 18 but struggling to find somewhere that accepts hens. Newquay would be a preference but open to other suggestions!

Thank you!!

I'm sure Leeds must be the most popular place for hen parties!

I'm going to Sheffield - all being booked through a company staying in a hotel with activities and such all booked through them.

    Hi,

I'm struggling with this too. I'm from Leeds but was thinking of Newcastle or Manchester. I was thinking of going for afternoon tea and a cocktail making class. I'd like to do something a little different though.

I recently organised a hen do for a friend in Bath. There are plenty of places that accept hen parties and there's lots of nice things to do in Bath

I went to a hen party last year in Leeds. We went trampolining - played dodge ball, got to jump into the foam pit and generally bounce around the room. Then went out for dinner and cocktail making and after that to a club. Her sister had organised a table and some alcohol in the club as well. There was quite a lot of us.

Another one I was invited to but couldn't go they went to Manchester and went indoor skydiving I think near the Trafford Centre then out for dinner etc.

I've seen lots of great ideas for Brighton and know that you can do plate smashing in a restaurant/bar in Bath.

My hen was at Center Parcs. They do say they don't accept hens but I never wanted a 'typical' hen anyway. Turns out when we got there, there were hen groups everywhere who were being a lot more obvious about it than we were, so I don't think they're that strict.

    Hi!!

I am in the process of researching a new business idea which will entail providing personalised and customisable hen party gift bags to organisers of hen dos for their evening/weekend. I'd be really grateful if you could take a second to fill out the survey below (or post any general feedback on whether you think this would be helpful below):

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I'm staying in a cottage in a valley called Chew Magna for mine. It's between Bath and Bristol and has a little on site spa and we are doing life drawing and a chef's dinner and off to the local pub on the first evening. I found it through a website called Acacia Cottages - https://www.acaciacottages.co.uk/. There's a lot on there that accommodate larger groups so you might find something a little different for your hen! xx
