Uk Venues - All under one roof if possible

Michellel, 11 May, 2021 at 03:56 Posted on Planning 0 3

Please help us Find a Venue! We are local to Norfolk but are happy to travel almost anywhere in the country.

We are looking to get married in 2023 Fiancé would prefer a June/summer wedding where as I am happy with almost any date and fiancé will compromise depending on venue type.
We have a budget of 5k max and would like a venue that could include venue hire (ceremony & reception) wedding breakfast, and evening buffet for 120 guests for that price or less! If possible.
Happy to hear any wedding budgeting ideas.

It's totally doable but you will have to look away from classic wedding venues as that will be out of you budget especially for high season wedding in summer! So think village halls(can be pretty) or even large airbnbs for the day maybe? Food wise have a hogg roast that's cheap and cheerfully or buffet for main meal, as a 3 course sitdown meal with 120 people will blow your budget. If you are flexible then plan a midweek or low season wedding which will cut your costs immensely. And split up you budget. Like is 5k just the venue/food? Or does that include legal costs, dress, flowers, music, drinks, photographer .....? Because that adds up.... make a spreadsheet and then see what you can realistic spend on each item. Also only allocate for 80-90% of what you want want spent because there is always little extras that get forgotten/ end up coming in over budget. Example for us: Venue (Castle with marquee) £2500- Easter sunday(Saturdays in high season would have been 5500), food 80 day+ 120 night guests £3000, drinks £900, photographer 900, ceremony costs (celebrant) £550, band £1500, flowers £250, rings £800 stationary £100, hair and makeup £200, accomodation £300..... all above 11k we aimed for 10 so not too bad.......add ons we didn't initially plan for but decided we can afford: videographer £700, ice cream van £300, reschede fees pandemic £300 note: my mum bought my dress but that was 1200 too. If we would have a midweek winter wedding the venue would only been 1k and a dj would have been possible for 600 but we love the band.... so yeah could have easily stayed in budget but it's still comfortable for us so decided to go for it. So find out exactly what you can spend on each item.and then take it from there. And do consider going low season/weekday as that will stretch you budget so much further as the main challenge here is your large guest number=food/drink costs

Finding the perfect wedding venue on a £5k budget for 120 guests is definitely possible, but it may require looking at community halls, barns, or smaller countryside hotels that offer inclusive packages covering ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast, and an evening buffet. Since your fiancé prefers a June/summer wedding, you could also explore mid-week dates, which are often cheaper than weekends. Consider venues that allow outside catering or DIY decoration to save costs, and don’t forget to negotiate all-inclusive deals that fit your needs. Much like Your local Tallahassee mold care pros help families find reliable and affordable solutions, some smaller venues and independent coordinators are flexible with pricing and can help you stretch your budget further without compromising the experience.

Finding an all-in-one wedding venue within budget can definitely be challenging, especially for a larger guest list, but some countryside hotels, barns, and community manor venues offer surprisingly flexible packages if you book early or choose an off-peak date. Keeping catering and décor simple can also help stretch the budget without losing the atmosphere. I’ve also seen useful planning and budgeting discussions on https://haunteddormapks.com/ where people share creative event and organization ideas.
