Uncle Jon, here comes your bride

daisymoo86, 22 January, 2014 at 12:00 Posted on Planning 0 9

Hello again everyone,

Totally random and Im sure someone can clear this up for me pretty quickly. I've seen a few B2B talk about 'Unle John, here comes your bride'. Is this from something? Am I having a senior moment??

Pointless I know, just my curiosity peaking!!

    Hi Daisymoo

I know you've responded to another one of my threads about this. To be honest I don't know if its 'from something' specifically & (this is probably my senior moment !) but I can't remember where I first saw this idea myself. I will, however, be following this thread to find out.

I don't know if it originates from somewhere, but it's very cute - I've seen it a lot on pinterest:

I've managed to print my own & have ordered some board from Amazon for £2! All i need is ribbon & we're good to go. However, i'd not thought about having something printed on the back but I like that idea. Thanks, I might pinch that if that's ok.

I love this idea! I know of a local company that make wooden signs to order, so have ordered one for my step-son-to-be to carry down the aisle.

We're making some little heart shaped blackboards with here comes the bride written on for our nephew and my goddaughter to carry (or hit each other with as my mum predicts) thought might be able to recycle them for use in the photobooth later if the kids get bored with them
