Underwear at a wedding dress fitting????

I just wore my regular underchunders.

Oh good. I was thinking about going braless on the day cus I hate strapless bras but then I had a horrible thought.... nipple rub. I can't be running out between songs to stick bepanthen on me raspberries.

I would actually wear the bra you're planning on wearing.

It's amazing how much a bra can change your measurements, especially in a dress that is supposed to fit like a glove.

Also, you might not need a bra. I was positive I would as I'm a 34F but my dress held everything wonderfully.

This is what I was thinking but I don't have time to get one between now and Saturday morning. Oh well, the slightly grey, slightly stained number it is then.

I was stressing about underwear, but when I tried my dress without a bra it was perfect! Wear your best fitting existing bra and also see how it is without...

I'm hoping they do wedding dresses with built in chicken fillets!

I thought you were meant to wear what you wil be wearing on the day.

I only have small bazookas but my shape changes so much from bra to bra.

But yes, as others have said, you might not need a bra at all.

I have quite hefty boobage, but the woman in the bridal shop reassured me that they can build a 'tit shelf' in the dress, so- for the first time in my life- I can go free range!

You'd be amazed what a decent bit of structural engineering and some girders can do.

I wore my normal padded number for the first fitting and they measured me as 33.5 inches. When I wore my new strapless one at the last fitting my measurement was 32 ins! So it does make a difference, esp. if you're a smaller girl and like your padding.

Tit shelf! That cracked me up. Maybe they can structurally engineer boobs for me then!

I made the mistake of reading this while taking a gulp of wine and I just spat it everywhere!! Haha just the thought of someone having to do this every 5mins on their wedding day has got me in stitches!!

Mrs Reeves to be - I'm not sure whether you've got your dress or if it would be an option but they've talked about adding cups into mine with foam in them - don't know if this would help?

I wore my black strapless bra (the only strapless I had) and my super suck it in black bust to knee pants (just to give me an idea of how small I'd be). The shop assistant was a bit shocked that I had turned up in all black.

The funny thing is that you couldn't see them through the dress so I'll wear them on the day. It will save me buying underwear I'll never wear again
