Veil and dress clash?

Hello

Wondering if anyone can help me - I have found a dress that I love BHS Grace which is gorgeous for the money! I want to add a cathedral veil as the dress has no train and have ordered 2 from Phase Eight.

The one I love is a full lace veil - however, I have 2 problems with it

1, it is a different lace to the dress - both are floral but the veil is very delicate, the dress is not.

2, both are ivory in colour but the veil is more of a pinky shade and the dress more of a yellowy shade.

Do you think that veils have to match perfectly? Will it be obvious that they are different?

I am trying to attach a pic of them together. .. (that didnt work argh!)

    IMHO i don't think either of them work. I'd probably go plain as your dress is so lacy but you could always have a pretty lace edge.

    I've heard Pink Margaret mentioned a lot of here for veils. Hopefully someone will come along and help a bit more on that.

    I am glad you have said that! My Gran ordered the veil and I just felt it was too OTT with the dress and also the wrong colour!

    Will have a search for Pink Margaret! Thanks!

    Also sorry about the pic links will sort it out whwn I have access to a computer and not just my phone haha!

    You could also look at Wedding Veils Direct (http://www.weddingveilsdirect.co.uk/) - they have lots of different colours (and styles and lengths) and you can order free swatches so you can compare to your dress (you just have to pay for postage).
