Veil fail - what's it called?

alabastamasta, 15 September, 2013 at 13:35 Posted on Planning 0 1

I've been thinking about veils today and I have come to the conclusion that I would rather have a lace cloak/cape with a hood, like this:

or this:

Does anyone know if these have a specific name? Or anywhere that would supply something like this? One of the dress shops I went to called it a name, which I have now forgotten (helpful) and she didn't have any to try (also helpful)

I could make it, if necessary, but wouldn't mind seeing if I could find one at least to try on Smiley smile

Thanks! x

I heard some future brides talking about 'Juliet cap veils' the other day and didnt have a clue what they meant so had to google image! They don't seem quite as hooded as what you're after though - sorry!

Cheers - I'll take a look! Smiley smile

I'm starting to think I should just order some tulle and have a go myself - we shall see! Smiley laugh
