Veil placement and hair accessories

winterwedding121215, 31 May, 2015 at 16:10 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hello.. I want to have my hair half up half down, something like below...

but I also would like something like below central...

I don't know if you can have a veil which is obviously held in with a comb and have something like above. I did look at hair clips but couldn't find anything similar.

Does anyone know if you can have both?

My big sister had both and it looked beautiful! ?

I'm not sure how the hairdresser put it in though?

I recall that the comb for the veil went in, then was pushed down, with the teeth facing downwards. You could then slide the decorative comb right behind it, slightly closer to the scalp than the veil comb. (if that makes sense?)

Really depends what sort of comb your veil has, (some don't have one at all) but I cant see a problem with doing that. Lovely BTW.

Sit the comb of the veil against the teeth of the hair comb (just below the jewels) and slide both in together.

or put the veil in, then slide the comb in with the teeth of the comb going behind the veil comb Smiley smile

I have seen literally 100s of veils go in and if you want it to stay there when your clumsy OH yanks it when he puts his arm around you you need to hold the veil comb upsidedown with the curve facing up and then slide half way in up towards the top of the head and then in that position flip it over and push down, that way it is locked in place and cannot be pulled out - only teased out, that then will be a stable base for your other hairpiece.
