Veil with something other than a comb?

sachar, 19 June, 2012 at 14:05 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi all!

I am wondering if anyone can help or have had the same problem?

I get married next month and have had my hair trial. I need a veil without a comb, as I can’t attach it to my hair without it pulling half my do out when I take it out.

Does anyone know of veils without a comb, maybe with a clip or something similar?

xxxxxx

You can easily unpick a veil attached to a comb and attach it to something else.

People who make bespoke veils such as Pink Margaret on eBay or The Wedding Veil Shop may be able to advise and tell you what they could attach veils to.

A good hairdressser will be able to place your veil WITH a comb so you can remove it easily though. Maybe try and find out about that first.

I have the opposite problem, I have a veil with no comb or any other attachment on it and I have no idea how to fix it to my head. My Grandma gave it to me, it was my great great Grandma's so I don't really want to stick a comb or anything on it.

This is how veils used to be made, brides used to attach them with just bobby pins, I'm sure if you ask a supplier of hand made veils like pink Margaret or even myself you will be able to purchase a pre gathered veil without the comb Smiley smile

    Hi Westlakedesign,

That's exactly what I was thinking of. Would you be able to PM me, so I can contact you about prices and details etc please?

My wedding is 14th July, so starting to worry I've left it a bit late.
