Hi everyone

I’ve just got my contract through for my venue for 2023 and wanted to know if anyone had any advise on what to watch out for or any issues they’ve had with their venue contracts?

One thing we spotted on ours was minimum numbers of guests required, however when we spoke to the venue they were much more flexible than what it stated on the t&c's. They also offered us much more flexibility with paying than what it stated on there.
I would recommend reading through carefully and emailing any queries - even if really small! Then you have a paper trail of everything you've agreed if any issues arise nearer the time of paying the final balance
Our contract was pretty basic though!
