Hi, I’ve looked at about 10,000 wedding venues online and none of them are feeling right. Well, some feel right but the price is so wrong.
We went to visit Ponden Mill recently but I was put off by the car park, road outside the mill, some of the neon lighting and the Ibiza type vibe.
We then went to see Manor House Lindley and have been considering this for a winter or twilight wedding. It would be a great venue for bad English weather, as the interior is great. But my fiancé pointed out that the serving staff are dressed in black with sparkling white trainers. It gave TOWIE vibes for a 5* hotel.
Are we being too picky?! I honestly don’t know what we’re looking for. Classy but not too traditional. Great Gatsby but not TOWIE. Or can anyone give me real recommendations of any type of venue, as a wedding guest or couple, in these areas?
