Verse for a scratch card Help Please

Hi,

I am putting little envelopes on the tables for the men with scratch cards in them.......so they don't feel left out as the ladies will have their little favours wrapped in front of them.

Would like to put a short funny verse on a card inside.......any ideas?

H2B has suggested :-

Men,s favours now are all the rage.

We couldn't afford much on our wage.

So on us have a little scratch.

But don't forget there is a catch.

If your lucky and get a winner.

Don't forget who bought your dinner.

Any other suggestions?

TBH I'm not a big fan of verses, and that one is a bit long really. How about just using this bit:

If you're lucky and get a winner, don't forget who bought your dinner!

Yes I agree the lasy bit is the funny bit the rest is just padding.......less is more......just have to keep reminding myself of that.
