Videographer or photographer??

Amy, 18 September, 2023 at 23:34 Posted on Planning 0 3
Getting married next year and have a small budget. Want to capture the day in the best way, what would people recommend if I could only choose one?

    Hi,
We can only choose one so we’ve decided to have a photographer.
Ask trusted friends to video on their phones instead! Hope you have a wonderful day x

Am I allowed to vote for the photographer Smiley xd

I actually hardly ever see video and mostly its a friend on their phone and if so I usually help them with positioning and what's about to happen next.

    Photographer, 100%.

Most people I know who have had a wedding video done watch it maybe once when they get it and then never again. A lot of people have this nice idea of re-watching on their 25th anniversary or something like that, but who knows what technology will be like in 25 years time? Friends who got married 25 years ago have wedding videos that they're now having to pay all over again to have transferred into a medium they can watch!!!

Also, with a video, you can only watch it. With photos, you can have them in albums, on your walls, put them on cards...even string them together in a slideshow with music to make a video of your own if you want.
