Vintage 'milk' bottles- on the cheap!

Skeptical78, 7 of August of 2013 at 09:45 Posted on Planning 0 12

Hey all,

Just a quickie- if you're planning on having summink like this at your wedding:

Tesco are currently selling Starbucks Frappucinos for £1. Drink the drink, rinse the bottle, peel off the labels (they come off really easily) and decorate and they look like this!

I've looked online and 'vintage milk bottles' sell for anything up to £21 for 6....so get 'em while you can!!

Maybe you could ask on free cycle too - see if anyone is an avid drinker of them

could you ask a local cafe near to you if they sell them and to keep the empties?

Ha! I've taken those chocolatey coffee-based bullets all in the name of wedding decor...

Skep, will yours be available to sell on? Or will people be taking them home? If you can/are willing to sell, how many would you have?

Depends how many I can drink before now and then!

In all honesty, we're not having a massive wedding and I was only going to have one or two per table as part of the centrepiece, so 12 tops?

I'm thinking of decorating them though. If I don't, you're welcome to have them!

I use these as the milk bottles in the coffee shop I run!

I buy 6 for £7, maybe I should start selling them on under the guise of wedding décor if I can get £20!

Oh they look fab! I'm a bit of a coffee addict as well so that would give me an excuse to get these lol.

    Thanks for sharing!
