Hi Everyone,

Am in early stages of planning our wedding and was wondering if anyone had

b) avg price - am having so much trouble in finding info online - having to contact companies for qoutes and am just after an idea at this early stage

Hope someone can help!!

Errrrrrrrr - hi pandapops. Ummmmmm how do I put this? I think it's a really really bad idea.

I vaguely remember once partaking in a "luge session" at a party at the royal albert hall of all places.

The upshot was lots of very drunken people getting up to all sorts of things with the wrong people if you know what I mean.

Also I remember my friend ended up being sick on a waiter.

And another friend being sick on the tube.

Obviously I was a good girl and none of these things happened to me........

So I would urge you to reconsider as not only is it dangerous, but in my opinion it's also really tacky.....

Maybe something else would be better....

    Hi Pandapops,

    Firstly, welcome to the forum!

I'm afraid I have to agree with Ali on this one. A bit tacky as well as likely to cause too much drunkiness.

Erm.... what they said, too tacky for a wedding. reminds me of a horribly drunken night at my graduation ball. NOT.good.

(ali - god, that just sounds like a NIGHTMARE of a night out!!! and sick on the tube - urrrrgh!)

<whispers>I'd had to google cos I didn;t know what one was<whispers>...i think it looks like fun...BUT NOT for a wedding, bit messy.

Could you just have the ice sculpture bit and some orange juice? ?

I'm afraid we seem to have pooped on your idea from a great height...please don;t let this put you off using hitched, it's just unlike many other forums...we tell the truth ?...so don't be frightened off.

Luge's are for Uni IMHO, definately not something for a wedding were everyone will be spending a fortune on their outfits, I don't think they are going to be wanting to smell of vodka or vomit all night ☹️

    Sorry

Hi Pandapops - welcome to hitched.

The last time we met with our venue they told us that unfortnately they have had to ban luges as they have caused some problems in the past - it wasn't something that we wanted to do in anycase but apparently some brides were very upset and they had set their hearts on having one.

Personally I am not a fan but obviously others are so don't be put off if you really want one.

Thanks! I get the message lol..was just an idea that we wanted but we've had to rethink a lot of things recently due to budgets so this is well and truly off the list!!!

Thank you for so many responses though...
