Vow Renewal Ceremony Music

June2015vowrenewal, 26 of February of 2015 at 19:21 Posted on Planning 0 3

My husband and I are renewing our wedding vows on our 14th anniversary on 6th June 2015 in church. It is the big wedding I didn't have originally. I am a little stuck though as to what music to have for walking into church and exiting church. Any advice would be appreciated please.

Do you have to have something religious? I am not getting married in a church, I will be walking down the 'aisle' to Pachelbel's Canon in D. It is a bit of a cliche but I love it, it's a classic.

I don't know if you're having an organ or anything, but I walked down the aisle to Einaudi's I Giorni, in my opinion one of the most beautiful pieces you could choose. Can't help much on exit music, we went for the cure!

Oh, and I would have loved to have ave maria but couldn't as its religious and we had a civil ceremony. We signed our register to canon in D, as above, cliche but beautiful.

I had Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring for coming in and Wedding March on way out. Very traditional church music!
