Wait for me kings of leon - Is it ok to use as a song during wedding registery signing?

Ka, 22 November, 2022 at 19:55 Posted on Planning 0 2

Bear with me guys, I just posted an hour ago about how up in the air I am with my wedding music at the moment but my partner just threw a spanner in the works and has told me he would love to have 'Wait for me' kings of Leon instead of Somebody like me. We are getting married around 10 years after we started dating and because neither of us like eyes on us we have been avoiding it and around in many circles for years. For this reason he thinks that song is very relatable and he wants it. I really like the song too but would people think it is an odd choice?

Thanks.

Your day do it your way! I walked down the aisle to an acoustic medley of Greatest Showman as is out fave film. As long as there are no religious or explicit words it is fine, check with the registrar is office. You normally have to submit choices for approval so they will tell you if it is not acceptable x

We didn't have any music during this bit of our ceremony but most people were stood up and chatting with the people around them, the registrar's were talking to the witnesses and my husband and I were sat together talking so I don't think it would have been heard anyway.
If you want this song then go for it, your guests might not hear it or recognise it anyway.
