Waterproof, ''Small'' led lights/bulb to fit into a slim vase ????

LittleMissB, 31 August, 2011 at 22:00 Posted on Planning 0 12

Im wondering if these exist ??

I know you can get the waterproof lights (some diamond shape) but my vases are very slim and these simply wouldnt fit, can you buy just the little led light/ bulb to simply drop into the vase ????

Did it fit right to the bottom ?

The one I have tried only fit halfway down, and agree that was a job to get out.

I got some from Ebay that are about an inch across - is that too big?

This was where I got them - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10-GREEN-SUBMERSIBLE-LED-LIGHTS-BATTERY-GARDEN-CANDLES-/310339833169?pt=UK_Candles&hash=item4841b20d51 - but in green, other colours are available.

What size are the lily vases?

If they are between 50cm and under then the neck of the vase is slimmer so they submersible ones won't fir. The only way to get light in the vase is to use an Illuminator base. They are about £25 per unit to buy though.

    They are 50cm vases, Sherrie.

£25 is way out of our budget especially as there is atleast 8 vases, but thanks anyway.

What are you planning to put into the vase?

If it is a dry filling then you can use the normal Floralytes which are a lot smaller. Have you got a pic of the look you are trying to achieve, I may be able to advise on an alternative filling.
