we want our friend to marry us, help?

Hi everyone,

Me and OH were talking last night and both said that we would like our future brother in law to marry us instead of a registrar.

So my question is, is there something that he can do to be able to leagly marry us? kind of like when joey from friends marrys monica and chandler?

    I really don't know the answer to this one. I would say give your local registry office a call, they'll be able to tell you.

    I don't think he would be legally able to marry you without a lot of hassel. We wanted a friend to marry us but in the end we went to a registra and then he gave us a blessing by way of a beautiful speech at the reception.
