What is everyones thoughts on wearing a watch on the big day?

I have a small name tattoo on my left wrist which is covered all the time by my sports watch. I bought my dress at the weekend and took pictures, I obviously took off my sports watch.

I was thinking of buying a very small fancy watch to wear on the day to cover the tatoo (something like the below)

    I am planning on wearing a watch but I always wear one every day and I’m lucky that it quite a nice sparkly silver one. I would feel strange without it. But if it’s useful to hide a tattoo then also a good idea and the one in your pic is perfect in my opinion

    I'm not big fan of watches with wedding dresses but if it's dressy one it's okay plus it handy to know what the time is. Alternatively you could cover the tattoo with make up and set it so it doesn't transfer on to your dress.

    I always wear a watch, so I think I’d feel naked if I didn’t wear one for the wedding… I inherited an old school dress watch from my grandma and I’m planning to wear that - just hope it goes with everything else!
    I like the one you’ve shown - if the one I’ve got doesn't work, I’ll be looking for something similar!
