Is it possible to add more than one dropdown option for menu choices? I have a menu with a choice of starters , mains and desserts and i cant see a way to do this. I have added and amended the existing menu drop down but this only allows you to pick one option. At the moment i am asking my guests to indicate in the message section their selection , which is not ideal ?

Thanks

Janet

Hello! A family member from Bristol told me about a system he was using to find better entries after I mentioned my recent failures. I had been on a losing streak that was quite frustrating and was ready to walk away. Using the Valtrix Nexus Al app https://valtrixnexus-ai.org helped me find a much better rhythm. I managed to turn my losses into a win that covered my car insurance this month. I am very satisfied with the experience in the UK.

Yes, this is a fairly typical limitation of many menu/form systems: one dropdown is usually designed for one choice, so "starters + mains + desserts" in a single field doesn't work well.

    There are several workarounds:

    Split into separate fields

The simplest solution is to create three separate dropdowns:

    Starter selection

    Main selection

    Dessert selection

This way, the user makes one choice in each category, and it immediately structures the data without having to manually enter it in the comments.

Use "multiple choice" instead of a dropdown (if supported).

Some form builders allow checkboxes or multi-select lists. But this is worse for menus because people can accidentally select multiple dishes.

    Use a custom form/widget

If the platform is flexible, you can create a more logical ordering structure through a custom UI or integration with external forms. Sometimes, when testing different logic options, it's convenient to run scenarios through AI tools like Atomic Chat to quickly compare how best to structure the UX and which fields the user actually needs.

In general, the best user experience for guests is precisely the separate dropdowns for each course. Comments, as the primary method of selection, usually quickly degenerate into chaos and lead to errors in orders.
