Website help. How to remove the menu drop down on the rsvp page????

Claire, 14 of March of 2021 at 17:36 Posted on Feedback to Hitched 5 16

Hello,

Please can anyone help with our Hitched Wedding website. Each time a guest goes onto the RSVP part of our website and enter their details. It then takes them to a menu option drop down... BUT we haven't confirmed our menu yet and it is listing options that do not relate to our menu.

Does anyone know how to remove this? I just want the RSVP bit to work.

Thanks for anyone who can help with this.

Claire x

    Hi Claire,

Did you get any response or resolution to this? Is it a new feature?

    Hi Leanne,

I worked it our myself as never heard back from customer services.

If you go to the planning side of the hitched website (not your wedding site) then go > to your guest list > wedding breakfast > then hit settings. You then need to unselect/untick the menu option.

This then removes the drop down menu when guests RSVP via your wedding website.

    I hope this helps.

Also very grateful for this top tip - I had people asking for Beef and Chicken (of which there will be neither - hope they aren't too disappointed!)

" go > to your guest list > wedding breakfast > then hit settings."

You'll also have to do it for other sections e.g. ceremony etc.

which is where we found it..

    Thanks for this heads up!

We have choices for starters, main course and dessert. Is there no option to select multiple items or is it just a drop down for main courses?

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how I can remove ceremony and wedding breakfast from RSVP? I am just having a reception and all my guests will be invited to the meal so I wanted to keep my wedding website simple and only have RSVP option for wedding reception. Does anyone know how to do this please? Thank you

To remove the menu dropdown on the RSVP page of your Hitched Wedding website, you should access your website's dashboard or editor. Look for the specific page where the RSVP feature is located. Then, edit the page settings or options and disable the menu dropdown.

If there isn't a direct option for this, you might need to reach out to Hitched Wedding's customer support or consult their documentation for guidance on customizing page features. This should ensure that guests can simply RSVP without encountering unrelated menu options. Good luck, Claire!
