I went to Wed2b with some of my bridesmaids on Saturday and have a question about sizing. My sister is between a 4 and a 6 and the assistant told her to choose the 6 because the dresses in the shop are slightly stretched from being tried on so many time, and that when her dress arrives, it will be an inch or so smaller.
Does anyone know if this is true? One of my other bridesmaids tried on the 10, and it fitted perfectly - but if it arrives and it is indeed an inch smaller, it will be very tight. However she did try the 12 and it swamped her, so now we're unsure what size to order. Does anyone have any experience here - are we best going with the sizes that fitted well in the shop or should we size up?
