Wedding breakfast band recommendations - not secret waiters

We really want a way of getting all our guests to be up and dancing during our wedding breakfast so we won’t have that normal lull during this point. We have been to weddings where they have had the surprise waiters who then sing which is fab but my fiancé finds the initial surprise a bit embarrassing so doesn’t want this.

The function band were perfect for what we wanted but they quoted £9995 which is just wayyyyy out of our budget! Especially as we have already got an evening band booked.
Could anyone offer any recommendations? We don’t want the acoustic drinks reception vibe, more a get the party started, dancing on chairs kinda thing.

Hello Kirsty, I'd Highly recommend The Neoroots function band, my sister hired them for her wedding back in 2020, my Fiancé and I were absolutely blown away, they performed throughout the whole day. My favourite part was the wedding breakfast, the energy they created was incredible, so much so that we have also hired them for our wedding next July.
So far we have had a great experience with them, they have tailored our whole day for us including a string quartet who will be performing one of our favourite movie scores which I absolutely LOVE (we are huge movie buffs) then were having the wedding breakfast/room reveal roaming acoustic band and then the evening band, we have also hired staging and lighting and a couple of additional musicians throughout the day as add ons, the performances have come to roughly 6k which we thought was just incredible! you do get a discount when you book the whole day but i guess you wouldn't need all of that anyway, not too sure how much the wedding breakfast costs on its own but definitely worth a look.
