Wedding Cake stand

BrideHannahB, 17 February, 2009 at 17:39 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi All!

My mum is making my wedding cake and our venue doesn't supply a cake stand, does anyone know where we can get one that isn't too expensive but that holds 2/3 tiers?

I have looked online but only ones I've found are £80+ which seems alot...then again I guess that just might be what they cost!

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!

What about hiring one, will be much cheaper. I am looking into this and have looked at websites of cake makers in my area, seems that you can hire for about £15-£20.

We hired one from our local hardware shop for about £5. Our local cake shop also had masses of different stands for hire.

    I bought a 5 tier mirrored one from ebay for £20 - /n/all-categories

It's all brand new and really well packaged (we need something to easily transport on a plane)
