Wedding date

Sarah, 18 of October of 2023 at 09:12 Posted on Planning 0 4
Hi all!

I recently got engaged and we found a lovely venue with lots of dates available for the time of year we want.
One date in particular is standing out to us as its the 16th which is the same as both mine and my fiancés birthdays.
My fiancé's brother got married last year in the same month on 20th.
My question is, would you be annoyed if your sibling got married on a date very close to yours? Or would it not bother you?
Do you think other people would think it weird?
Thanks, stressing myself out about this for probably no reason!

If it were the same year, then it might be an issue, but different years? Not a problem! And since the weddings are a year apart, any future celebrations for big anniversaries will be in different years, so it's never going to cause an issue there either.

The only issue is do you really want all your special celebrations together? Or do you mean that your birthdays are on the 16th days of different months?

Thanks for your reply, glad to hear you don't think it's a big deal 😀 our birthdays are different months so it would be April, May and then June for the wedding which I think would have a nice meaning to it
