Wedding DJ - for those not supplied with venue

soon-to-be-Mrs-King, 22 June, 2011 at 16:10 Posted on Planning 0 17

Hi girls

For those of you that are having a DJ and whose venue is not supplying one, do you mind telling me what DJ you picked?

I'm currently looking for a DJ and am considering going with DJ Baz from Funky Penguin, I know that Anthony from Funky Penguin has really good reviews but after looking at the Funky Penguin website I feel that DJ Baz caters for our taste more (RnB, Reggae, Garage, Funky House, Mowtown). I have also read one good review on DJ Baz from a past hitched bride, anybody else used him before?

The music is really important part of our day so I don't want to mess up by choosing a crap DJ...so before I book anything I was just wondering who everybody else has booked and if anybody has any recommendations?

I'm from Crystal Palace, but the reception venue is in Dulwich.

I haven't heard of him, but we could be different age generations (I'm 32). Does he play out with a sound or does he DJ in any venues?

Mr RB knows our DJ and he's very good. If we didn't know him we would have booked one on a recommendation.
