Wedding dress alterations

I've bought my dress, from an outlet store so I already have it! I need it to be altered. I can't decide between the recommended seamstress that the shop suggested, or a more local tailor... They both have very good reviews on google, although the local one has more reviews...


If you've had your dress altered, would you suggest going with the recommended, or a more local place? I just want to make the best decision to hopefully avoid any disasters!
