Wedding Dress Insurance?

Hi all, has anyone insured their wedding dress? I have found the dress and my parents have paid the deposit but they are now worrying that with the current Coronovirus situation that the shop may go bust/ the dress may not arrive. They paid for it with cash. Is there such a thing as wedding dress insurance to cover for no show/shop going bust in addition to the cover provided by normal wedding insurance.

That's a shame, love. The people working in the wedding industry will sell you the moon, but something like this happens, and they back off like the mangy dogs they are. My daughter's wedding too was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, and the venue is dodging my calls for a reimbursement. I empathize with you. Hope you get that money back, especially since it was under an insurance. Be safe, and God bless!
