Hi - I'm getting married next May and starting to think about booking appointments to try on wedding dresses when the shops reopen. I'm a size 12-14 (much more towards 14 since lockdown hit!) but hoping to be back down to a 12 for the big day and I've been reading that most bridal shops will only stock samples up to a size 12 (which apparently is more like an 8-10 in bridal sizes!) so I'm wondering if they will have anything I'll be comfortable trying on? Would it be better to look for shops that stock plus sized dresses? It would be great to hear your experiences, I hate shopping at the best of times so trying on wedding dresses is probably going to be one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for me
