Wedding Fair Goodie Bags

sandieb, 30 May, 2008 at 19:05 Posted on Planning 0 11

We are organising some more shows and would like to give brides who register a goodie bag.

We would really appreciate your input as to what you, as a bride, might like to see in there (winner lottery tickets and Tiffany bits excluded!)

Thanks

Well, yes, that goes without saying?.

I was also thinking of some smellies. If I can find some cheap enough, a little mirror, a note book of some kind - that kind of thing.

Only just realised the time. Going out to see Sex And The City soon, so please don't think I'm not acknowledging any emails. I will post again when I get back.

Thanks for any more ideas. Keep them coming!

The last goodie bag I got was just full of diet bars and weight watchers drinks and soup. I thought it was a bit ummm crap. So non of those things please. And that was at a big one too.

I have been to a few wedding fairs and the only thing I have had inside them, is venue, flower, ring, dress information, not even a diet bar!! What have I been missing???? ☹️

I think things mentioned in other posts are great ideas, along with samples of make-up and smellies to help you decide what to use for the day...

Definatley make-up samples / lip gloss. No diet related food I think that's plain wrong.

Trying to think of something less typical how about a drinks coaster (I could use one at work) or post-its for reminders of things to do.

    Hey

how about a fridge magnet. i know it sound funny but people will need to keep some special wedding related numbers somewhere so something like a magnet or fancy bulldog clip for your notice board would be handy. i've still got a satin favour bag with a company name on it from a fayre i went to a while ago. chocolates are always good, discount vouchers are always good, it would make me think twice about using them.(cake, hair, spa, whatever works)
