Wedding favours

Shenel, 1 October, 2021 at 11:52 Posted on Planning 0 3
We have ordered pretty boxes from Etsy (not air tight) and we’re planning to fill them with Scottish tablet and Turkish delight to compliment our two cultures coming together. However, I didn’t consider whether they will spoil in boxes that are not air tight! Does anyone know if they would be ok and how far in advance to pack them? The day before the wedding is very busy so wanted to do them at least 2 days before but now wondering if they will go bad, particularly Turkish delight as it’s soft 🤔 any advice please? Xx

Is there a way you could delegate to someone to do the night before or on the morning and drop to your venue so it is super fresh? if you cant do the night before and looking at 2 days before I would wrap them in some greaseproof paper and tape it to help keep fresh, as they could dry out quite easily.

Not really wanting to ask the groom and groomsmen, don’t know if I trust them haha. I can’t imagine our parents being any good with all the intricate boxes and ribbons either! Me and the bridesmaids are all heading out early the day before to get nails done then we have lunch booked and will be checking into the hotel (wedding venue) for a chilled day. Maybe our chilled day could be spending time in our room putting the favours together 😂
