Wedding favours

Zoë, 30 November, 2022 at 13:59 Posted on Planning 0 4
Hi Hitchers,

What wedding favours are you having?
Have you got children attending your wedding and if so what wedding favours have you decided on for them?
TIA ☺️

We are doing name cards for our guests, which have wildflower seeds in the name card paper so guests can take them home, plant them and have wildflower seeds. This way it’s a 2 in 1 job!

We don’t have many children at our wedding, I think there will be 8 in total, but we will have a little play area for them, bubbles, bean bags and colouring books.
Hope this helps and wishing you the best day x

I don’t think we’re bothering, it’s so expensive and don’t want to leave people with tat.

I have seen a few good ideas though- For richer or for poorer sealed envelopes with a scratch card in for a bit of fun - we always do this at Christmas 😂- Sunflower seeds - I’ve seen this suggested elsewhere and thought it was pretty cool. Could save a fair bit of money. - Little chocolates- His and Her favourite sweet packages. Again in bulk could save money. - little bottles of a shot
I’ve seen a lot of people just making donations to charity and then provided pin badges, especially if there’s something close to your heart. Hope this inspires you haha x

Thank you for your suggestions - we’ve decided on playing cards (we’re big board/card game players) I’m making personalised sleeves for them and I’m a big baker so We’re providing a cookie cutter with cinnamon and ginger in test tubes and a gingerbread recipe. These are for the guests aged 11+ but we’ve got guests aged 0-10 coming as well and it’s trying to find a favour that will be suitable for them as well.
