Wedding flowers cost?

MrsLBtoB, 10 August, 2015 at 14:04 Posted on Planning 0 11

I have no idea about how much to budget for flowers and need some help!!

Luckily centerpieces are included in our wedding package so that's all taken care of.

However, there's my bouquet & the 2 BM's bouquets

We also will need 4 x corsages for the mums/step mums/nan and 7 Buttonholes for the groom, best men/ushers/dads

I appreciate the cost will depend on the types of flowers used but any idea roughly how much each should be??

Thanks ?

These were my quoted prices for a florist in Surrey:

    My bouquet (not huge!) £85

    Button holes £9 each

    Corsage for mums £12 each

    Adult BM bouquet £45

flower crowns for little ones £35 each

My wedding is in October so wherever possible we're planning on using in season flowers (not that there's much choice in October!).

I found someone local to me who does silk flowers. I need silk to take to Lapland with me. My bouquet is around 55.00 for ivory roses and winter berries, and buttonholes I need 3 and they are around 10 maximum depending on what I want.

Im going to see her in September and will prob order a buttonhole before I go just to double check.

I found her on ebay but she has a shop and it's relatively local to me.

This is how much we're paying:

    Bridal bouquet: £60

    Button holes: £7.50 each

    Wrist corsage: £9.50

I don't have any bridesmaids so no bridesmaids bouquets.

My OH is having a slightly different/larger button hole to his best men. We're not having ushers.

My bouquet: £85 (roses, freesias, gypsophila and something else I can't remember - not big or trailing or anything)

Three BM bouquets: £165 (as above, minus roses I think)

    Hi There

As a florist myself i can say it does depend on the type of thing you are after

I would suggest looking at as many pictures to get an idea of the thing you like and dont like ,there are so many different types you can have then bring these with you when you get you prices

It does also depend where you are - we are based in surrey and cover central ondon and surrey and our prices are very different to florist actually based in central london,

any other advice i can give please feel free to ask

    rhubarb & bramley

My bridal bouquet will be around £180, BM bouquets around £55, buttonholes £12. It is pricey but I just fell in love with their work!
