Wedding food ideas

Robyn Amos, 21 August, 2022 at 12:33 Posted on Planning 0 1
Please help- I’m getting myself in a right pickle.

In regards to food for the day, with a ceremony at 3pm, we were doing hog roast, a “midnight feast” of pizza and chips plus a chocolate fountain but I’m not sure that’s the way to go. We have guests all day but have about 20 possibly 30 coming at 730ish. Can you all let me know how you’re doing your food? I’m so confused at the moment xxx

If ceremony is at 3 then food could push to be served at 5.30 so you have time for photos and seeing guests after the ceremony..you can have your hognroast at this time for day guests. Your eve guests can arrive at 7/7.30 and then I would have your pizzas etc at around 9/9.30. for the evening food cater for around 80% of your total numbers as your day guests will have eaten a few hours before so won't eat as much as your guests coming just for the evening..

I would speak to your venue as they will know the best timings and if they need time to turn room around then they can guide you
