Wedding in Europe

Italy is very popular for weddings, my friend is going over in May/June to seek out a venue for her's. We are getting married in portugal and I believe Bec is getting married in Greece (or it could be Cyprus...sorry).

She should start to look around for Itallian wedding planners which will make life a lot easier, Sorrento is very popular and beautiful...marriage in sorrento and honeymoon on the island of capri....lush

there were also a few companies at the national wedding show who did this, I'll have to find their information tonight when I get home

I can imagine Switzerland would be ace and have seen a couple of companies who organise them here from accidental googles...and have also heard southern Germany has a number of pretty romantic castles you can get married in for not too much money...

I'm getting married in Santorini, views are breathtaking.....This is our venue, overlooking the Volcano and the sunset.

That looks stunning, Bec. I'd love to go to Santorini - it looks gorgeous. I did price it up for a holiday a year or so ago but at the time it was going to work out a bit pricey. Might consider it again for our proper honeymoon next year though! When is your wedding? You'll have to let me know what the place is like.

I've been before, and fell in love with it....we were always going to get married in Rhodes til I went to Santorini!

It can be a bit pricey depending on resort....we're staying in Kamari, which is significantly cheaper as you don't get the views and sunset, but you do get a beach! Getting married on the Sunset side on the caldera though, as its just stunning. The whole island is tiny though, its so easy to get around!

I've now heard Easyjet are going to start flying there from London this summer, so should start to make it more affordable to go! xx
