Wedding in Italy/greece

Hello everyone, I have just got engaged and we are looking at planning a wedding abroad in either 2025/2026. I don't even know where to start or who to message about abroad weddings. Has anyone got married their before or has planned to speak to venues not in the UK got any tips or places they can share?

Hi Emilie,
We went to a wedding last year in Zante (Zakynthos) in Greece. The location was beautiful by the coast. Small wedding of about 40 guests. I was told by the couple that the cost was reasonable. Don't know who the wedding organisers were though. The couple and some of the guests booked the flight and accommodation through TUI and stayed at Caravel Blue Tsilivi. We booked a hotel next door called the Filoxenia Beach Apartments which was lovely as we had a balcony looking direct out to sea. The wedding venue was about half hour drive away.
