Wedding insurance

Stephanie, 15 September, 2023 at 08:32 Posted on Planning 0 1

Hey guys, I have paid a deposit to the venue, and also deposits to most suppliers, but my venue has changed their payment policy meaning we have to pay a lot of it earlier than originally planned.

This has made me think about insurance (which we don’t yet have). Can I get it now, even though the contracts are all signed with suppliers? Will it still be valid?

Any help/links on insurance would be amazing, thank you!

I think it depends with what insurance you take out. I'd do a bit of research on 3 companies you're looking to get wedding insurance from and just give them a call and ask. We had quite a few phone calls that ended up us drilling them for information to really understand wedding insurance before committing.
