Wedding Insurance for Americans Getting Married in England

Hello!

My fiance and I are getting married in England later this year and the venue we booked requires insurance. Are there any wedding insurance providers that will cover a UK non-resident/non-citizen for a UK wedding? All US-based insurers won't cover a wedding abroad.

    Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, both E&L and John Lewis both require the policyholder to be a resident of the UK.

    Hello, We are US citizens running into the same issue. Did you find a solution? We are looking for liability insurance for the reception and are unable to find a UK broker that will insure Non UK Residents/citizens.

    Hello, We are also running into the same issue. We so far are unable to find a broker who will insure Non-UK Citizens/ residents. We also have no family in England. The venue requires event liability insurance. Were you able to find a solution?
