Wedding insurance for wedding abroad

Hi everyone,

We are getting married in 2018 in Italy and we are just about to pay the deposit on our venue.

Does anyone have any recommendations (or stay away froms) for weddings abroad insurance?

Do you have a wedding planner? If you do I couldn't find any insurance that covered their input but there are abroad wedding services. I think John Lewis and Debenhams offer it if I remember rightly. I ensured I had holiday insurance and took my dress and rings etc as hand luggage so I knew I wouldn't have to worry about them
