Wedding invitations

Crystal, 29 March, 2023 at 13:32 Posted on Planning 2 23
Hi,
Where did all of you order your invitations from? Did you order them or make your own? I’ve seen a few decent places through Ebay and Etsy, seems so difficult to decide what’s bestb

    Hi,

We got ours from the company on the link below. You get the templates but have to print and put them together yourself. I have a friend who is really good with that kind of stuff (she did our save the dates) so she did most of it for us.

We did ours on Canva, it is free and lots of designs. you can either then print them or send as an attachment as an e-vite, which we did as more sustainable but also a lot easier for our guests as we sent the link to our website which then had pages with all the info and RSVP, so they had it in one place and didn't need to have a load of paper, they could just go on the website

I made mine on Vistaprint and it was quite simple. Obviously more expensive than pre-made, but we didn't find it too expensive.

Made ours on Canva - you can make it as easy or as creative as you like as they're loads of free templates but also loads of settings and shapes you can play around with to create something unique Smiley smile

Printed them via Canva too, complete with envelopes - really happy with the quality for the price.

We ordered our wedding invites from Zazzle, they came super quick & was really helpful at the fact I messed up, put the wrong postcode in & some of the writing wasn't correct.

It all depends what you're going for design wise, as the ones that we've got are a smooth finish, so have to write on in sharpie! x

This isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I am in the process of making mine.
I went to the range and hobby craft, brought some nice thick card, some stick on pearls, and faux diamonds along with some lace ribbon... plus a glue gun!
There are so many templates for wordings so I plan on printing directly on to the card. I think the supplies cost me around £17 and a fiver for the glue gun. If they turn out a bit naff, then I'll take a look at some of the suggestions and links the other ladies have put in the thread...

We did our Save the Dates on Canva and then just messaged on Facebook/WhatsApp etc., and our invites (with website info) through PaperlessPost by email.

For each we got 10 printed on VistaPrint, as we had a few guests such as my Grandad who do don’t do technology and any Mum wanted a physical copy etc.

I got mine from The Place Card Place. Its a small business run by a lady called Jayne. You can find her on Facebook. The invitations she makes are beautiful and her prices are very reasonable.

We got ours from Daisy Chain Invites and they were perfect! Decent price as well, and you’re ordering them from a person who then mocks up the proof for you to check and means you can make changes where you need to.

I used Canva to design them and then got them printed with digitalprinting.co.uk. I was actually amazed by the quality and it only cost £25 to print around 60 invites double sided. Obviously the postage is another story...

I created mine on Canva, not too sure where to get them printed yet, but it seems like a more cost effective way to do them - looking at quotes I will probably get them printed on digital print.
